Mark 12:28-30

Mark 12:28-30 (God's Word): 28 One of the scribes went to Jesus during the argument with the Sadducees. He saw how well Jesus answered them, so he asked him, “Which commandment is the most important of them all?”
29 Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Listen, Israel, the Lord our God is the only Lord. 30 So love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.

This passage of scripture really touched me the other day as I was reading it.  With all the End Times prophecies coming true, I want to make it my goal to love Jesus with all my heart, soul, mind and strength! What does it take to love Jesus this way?  What does that look like?

  1. To love Jesus is to pray to Him and give thanks and to show others His love in the way you live. Every time things seem to be too much to handle, I always remember what Jesus has done and how he handled those who disrespected him. He has a love like no other and if we all pursued to live a life like that, can you imagine how things would be? :) Thank you for showing Christ's love in your friendship!

  2. Great post! I remember somebody asking me "what if I love Jesus too much?" Thankfully, that can't happen, but the opposite can. Sometimes we say we love our Lord, but we fall short on how much. I think being thankful for everything is a good way to love Jesus with all of your heart. What does loving Jesus look like? to love those around you and to forgive those who have done wrong to you just like Jesus has forgiven us. To reflect Him :)
